Role Summary

The Senior Planning Engineer position is a full-time hybrid role located in Doha, Qatar, offering partial flexibility for remote work. The incumbent will be accountable for creating, managing, and updating project schedules while ensuring alignment with key project milestones and available resources. Collaboration with project managers, production teams, and other stakeholders is crucial to monitor project progress, analyze deviations, and propose corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that reflect realistic timelines and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to track progress and analyze variances from planned activities.
• Prepare detailed planning reports and assist with project control tasks.
• Optimize production planning processes and contribute inputs for risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Participate in planning meetings to facilitate clear communication and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in planning and production scheduling to optimize resource deployment effectively.
• Proficient analytical skills combined with project control capabilities to monitor performance data and support informed decision-making.
• Effective communication skills to interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey planning insights clearly.
• Experience within the energy, construction, or industrial sectors, especially on large-scale projects, is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; certifications such as Primavera or MS Project add value.
• Capability to function efficiently in a hybrid work environment while managing multiple priorities and complying with safety and regulatory standards.
