About the Role

Join Tetra Pak in South Island, New Zealand, as a Maintenance Engineer dedicated to supporting our mission of making food safe and accessible everywhere. Your role focuses on assisting with installations and executing preventive maintenance tasks of moderate complexity under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in readying customer sites for installation events and assembling machinery including conveyors.
  • Support the installation process by applying rebuild kits according to set procedures and reinstating equipment for production.
  • Utilize the TPMS tool to document preventive maintenance and corrective actions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of technical documentation relevant to your tasks.
  • Proactively contribute suggestions and ideas that support customer business development.
  • Ensure all work complies with occupational health and safety standards and Tetra Pak's safety policies, fostering a safe culture within the team.
  • Represent Tetra Pak professionally, nurturing positive customer relations to uphold the company’s reputation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has limited but practical experience in technical hands-on work and demonstrates enthusiasm to learn and develop maintenance, repair, and installation skills. Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer is preferred.
