About the Role
Join the team at Littleconnell Brewery in Newbridge, County Kildare, where Diageo produces some of the world's most iconic drinks. The Engineering Maintenance Planner will oversee maintenance and asset management across the brewery, utilities, and water treatment facilities. This role operates semi-autonomously with a key responsibility for planning and ensuring smooth execution of maintenance activities while managing SAP processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule maintenance work plans by coordinating labor, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Manage SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP-PM) functions including maintenance plans, updating bills of materials, equipment records, and functional locations.
- Track and report key performance indicators related to equipment reliability and operational efficiency to support continuous enhancements.
- Control maintenance expenses and optimize the spare parts inventory to reduce waste.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdowns, facilitating collaboration between maintenance and operations teams.
- Contribute to root cause analyses to improve performance and decrease operational risks.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including supervision of contractors.
Candidate Profile
- Proactive and organized with the capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Sound knowledge of preventive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
- Familiarity with asset performance management, maintenance strategies, and problem-solving techniques focused on root causes.
- Experience with SAP-PM software for maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Basic financial literacy relating to maintenance budgeting and cost control.
- Previous experience in FMCG sectors is a plus but not mandatory.
