Role Overview

The Supply Scheduler will hold a key role within Diageo’s Supply Chain and Manufacturing team at Littleconnell Brewery in County Kildare, Ireland. This permanent role involves orchestrating the scheduling of brewing, blending, and beer supply operations across multiple sites to ensure efficiency and the optimal flow of products. The position requires collaboration with brewery teams, packaging sites, and supply chain partners to create feasible production schedules that maximize service quality, manage inventories, and boost operational results. This role also supports capacity expansion and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and manage short-term schedules for brewing, blending, and production to fulfill demand, maintain customer service levels, optimize inventory, and consider operational constraints.
• Ensure accurate stock tracking and reporting by utilizing SAP and other planning software systems.
• Manage coordination of beer transfers and tanker logistics among breweries, packaging locations, and external partners.
• Participate in capacity planning and network growth initiatives to support scaling operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to refine planning processes, tools, and collaboration methods.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold operational excellence and effective supply chain performance.
• Engage closely with internal stakeholders across Diageo sites, notably collaborating with the wider team at St James Gate.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience managing complex production schedules involving multiple constraints and collaborating stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data, spot trends, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making processes.
• Proficiency with planning systems and business software, including the ability to resolve system-related challenges.
• Experience in monitoring KPIs and assessing the effectiveness of planning activities to drive performance improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop trusted partnerships across various organizational levels and departments.
• Effective influencing and communication skills to align diverse groups and secure buy-in for shared goals.
• Proactive and team-oriented approach capable of driving outcomes and execution without direct authority.
