About the Role and Employer
Join a leading global analytics firm specializing in ratings, research, risk, and policy advisory services as a Liquidity Analyst based in Chennai. This opportunity involves leading a team dedicated to liquidity risk reporting for a prominent banking client.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of a five-member Liquidity Risk Reporting team, ensuring analysis completion ahead of the US team's workday.
- Examine QRM data, liquidity risk statistics, funds transfer pricing (FTP), and associated liquidity metrics, identifying and challenging significant discrepancies.
- Direct in-depth root-cause analyses, documenting assumptions, conclusions, and pending actions thoroughly.
- Distribute assignments, assess quality of outputs, handle escalations, and coordinate tasks among Analysts and Senior Analysts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders daily, fostering process enhancements, staff development, and ensuring consistent team coverage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in liquidity risk reporting, treasury risk, asset liability management (ALM) reporting, or a related banking risk function.
- Practical understanding of QRM tool outputs and workflows, with the ability to investigate and resolve reporting issues.
- Strong knowledge of liquidity reporting frameworks, FTP, and related liquidity measures.
- Demonstrated skills in coordinating teams, leading delivery projects, conducting quality reviews, and managing stakeholder escalations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
