Job description
About the Role
This is a 12-month contract position extending until January 2027, with a possibility of a permanent transfer to the client team based on performance. Candidates must have prior experience specifically in Record to Report (R2R) functions; applications from other domains will not be considered. The role involves ensuring the completion of daily transactions and activities within the R2R processes such as General Ledger accounting, period-end close, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of R2R processes, including sub-processes and transactional entries.
- Execute R2R activities such as General Ledger accounting, journal entry preparation and review, and statistics data entry or uploads.
- Perform cost allocations and support monthly and annual close processes.
- Assist various departments with accounting-related queries and issues.
- Compile periodic reports on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Complete tax work papers and related reporting activities.
- Manage and track the close checklist to ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Conduct reconciliations including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and adjust transactions and journal entries as required.
- Prepare financial statements and participate in month-end closing activities.
- Support internal controls including SOX reporting and risk compliance tasks.
- Prepare IFRS internal and group regulatory reports.
- Oversee activities related to fixed assets, inter-company transactions, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide necessary documentation and reports for financial reporting purposes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on evolving accounting standards and best practices within the R2R function.
- Assist Team Lead with operational excellence, process improvements, reporting, and client escalations as needed.
Additional Information

Educational Eligibility
Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree in any specialization or a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) / Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) in any specialization.
