Overview
We are seeking skilled and qualified Linespersons to integrate into our teams across multiple locations including Poole, New Forest, Yeovil, Salisbury, West London, Slough, Reading, Swindon, Melksham, Andover, Oxford, Portsmouth, Isle of Wight, Basingstoke, Aldershot, and Petersfield. This role provides a stable career within the electrical distribution sector, offering progression based on skill development.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranges between £36,139 and £43,188, supplemented with opportunities for overtime and standby payments, targeting an OTE around £50,000.

Work Schedule
This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible first options. The role requires occasional out-of-hours standby duties and rapid response during emergency or severe weather conditions. Working will involve outdoor tasks in varying weather.
Core Responsibilities
- Conducting construction, maintenance, and repair on low voltage (LV) up to and including 11/33kV electrical networks.
- Upholding and promoting strict safety standards for self and colleagues, serving as safety culture ambassadors.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations to ensure continuous service and customer support.
- Working outdoors in all weather scenarios and fulfilling standby and storm response duties as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as an electrical linesperson is essential.
- Must hold recognized Distribution Network Operator (DNO) electrical qualifications relevant to UK or equivalent overseas experience covering LV, HV, 11kV, and 33kV, with 11kV live line working experience or qualification considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in constructing, repairing, and operating electrical equipment and infrastructure.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols with excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information.
- Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and the demands of out-of-hours standby assignments.
- A valid full UK driving licence is mandatory.
