Position Overview
We are seeking qualified and experienced Linespersons to join our expanding teams across multiple locations in the UK including Poole, New Forest, Yeovil, Salisbury, and others. This role offers a stable career with opportunities for progression in a sustainable energy industry.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary range from £36,139 to £43,188, with on-target earnings circa £50,000 including overtime and standby payments.

Work Conditions and Pattern
Permanent full-time employment with flexible working options. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, performing standby duties outside normal hours, and responding promptly to emergency situations, including storm responses.
Key Duties
- Perform construction, maintenance, and repair tasks on electrical networks ranging from low voltage (LV) through to 11kV and 33kV systems.
- Ensure personal and team safety, actively supporting a strong safety culture at all times.
- Respond rapidly to emergencies to maintain the electricity supply for customers.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Linesperson with recognized DNO electrical qualifications relevant to UK or overseas overhead line work in LV, HV, 11kV, and 33kV.
- Preferably have experience or qualifications in 11kV Live Line procedures.
- Proven capability in the construction, repair, and operation of electrical plants and equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Flexible work approach to handle out-of-hours standby duties and emergency responses.
- Possession of a full UK driving license is mandatory.
