Role Overview

As a Lifeguard at Places Leisure in Gosport, you will engage in a dynamic environment alongside passionate colleagues. Your role includes encouraging teamwork and maintaining high safety standards in swimming and pool facilities. Although having a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is advantageous, we welcome individuals who are safety-conscious competent swimmers and eager to develop lifesaving skills. We support continuous learning, including helping you obtain the NPLQ.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise pool users and fellow lifeguards to ensure safety.
• Maintain vigilant oversight of health and safety within the pool area and the facility’s operation.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail to protect all customers during facility use.
• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional approach, consistently striving to exceed service expectations.
• Uphold superior cleanliness standards in all operational areas as necessary.
