Job Overview

This full-time role at Centra in Naas involves providing essential support to the chef and kitchen staff. The position is based on Monread Road, Naas, County Kildare, Ireland. The main goal is to help with food preparation and the smooth running of the deli/catering kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately complete customer sales and order processing according to store protocols.
• Prepare various food items for sale, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge, including awareness of the product range and allergens.
• Manage stock efficiently through proper merchandising and rotation within the kitchen department.
• Assist the chef with daily operations including salad, soup, and vegetable preparation.
• Plan and execute daily dinner meal preparation from start to finish.
• Operate the hot food section independently on quieter days, preparing items such as chicken fillet rolls and breakfast rolls.

Candidate Profile

• Strong enthusiasm for food and the ability to motivate and engage customers.
• HACCP training is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.
