Role Overview

We are offering a rewarding full-time Lifeguard position at Places Leisure in Dover, where you will work in a dynamic, supportive atmosphere alongside fellow passionate individuals. Your role will be pivotal in inspiring teamwork and encouraging excellence in service delivery.

Possession of a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is advantageous. However, if you prioritize safety, are a proficient swimmer, and eager to develop vital skills, we provide continuous learning and support to help you achieve this certification.

This role opens multiple career pathways within Places Leisure, including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, and Customer Service sectors.

Training and Development

We offer ongoing training and competency evaluations, access to first aid at work courses, swimming tuition certifications, and various apprenticeship programs to support your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise customers and fellow lifeguards at swimming and pool facilities to maintain safety standards.
• Ensure safe conduct at all times, taking responsibility for health and safety of all pool users and overseeing facility operations.
• Maintain excellent attention to detail to guarantee user safety during facility use.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by interacting professionally and courteously, striving to exceed expectations.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards within the facility as required.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is mandatory.
