Role Overview

We are seeking a Lifeguard to join Places Leisure in a dynamic and energetic setting, working with a team of like-minded individuals. This role involves encouraging teamwork and supporting others to perform their best.

A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is preferred. However, if you are safety-minded, a capable swimmer, and motivated to gain important life-saving skills, we offer ongoing training and support to help you achieve the qualification.

Joining as a Lifeguard provides a stepping stone to various career paths such as Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, or Customer Service.

Training and Development

We provide regular training and competency evaluations and opportunities to qualify in first aid, swimming teaching, and apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise customers and fellow lifeguards in the swimming and pool areas.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, maintaining health and safety standards for all pool users and overseeing building operations.
• Maintain a vigilant focus on detail to protect the wellbeing of customers during facility use.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional manner, consistently exceeding expectations.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness within the facility.
