Job Purpose and Duties

The primary responsibility is to maintain the safety of guests and staff in designated swimming areas during operational hours. This includes having valid Lifeguard certification along with authorization to perform Artificial Respiration (AR) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

• Set up safety equipment at the pool, such as life-saving flotation devices along the shorelines or pool perimeter.
• Ensure proper placement of safety flags during all business hours.
• Maintain and display informational items such as first aid kits, business hours, pool depth indicators, and water and air temperature readings.
• Respond promptly to emergencies within the resort's swimming zones, including ensuring the rescue boat is always ready for use.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned to support pool safety and resort operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a valid Lifeguard certification with 2 to 5 years of professional experience in similar roles.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• Personable demeanor.
• Ability to maintain composure and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong multitasking capabilities.
