Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft licensing frameworks, including CSP, EA, MPSA, SPLA, and Open Value programs.
  • Optimize licensing costs for customers by performing spend analysis, benchmarking, and maximizing cost efficiency.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on optimal licensing strategies to enhance return on investment and ensure compliance.
  • Assist sales teams in presenting organizational value to secure large, complex licensing contracts.
  • Lead advisory projects focused on Microsoft software and license optimization.
  • Conduct licensing workshops and training for customers, partners, and internal team members to enhance knowledge.
  • Manage licensing helpdesk operations for enterprise clients, addressing and resolving intricate queries.
  • Ensure complete compliance with OEM trainings and certifications within the teams.
  • Oversee vendor portals such as PSX and Microsoft Partner Center for data updates, validation, and user administration.
  • Coordinate vendor-sponsored events including PowerDays, webinars, and customer roundtables to engage stakeholders.
  • Empower internal teams through ongoing education sessions on licensing and program knowledge.
  • Deliver detailed program briefings and training to sales and presales teams.
  • Support Account Managers in identifying new opportunities, managing renewals, and expanding revenue channels.
  • Maintain a robust customer pipeline and monitor progression from engagement through license acquisition.
  • Create and update reporting dashboards and trackers utilized in business reviews with Microsoft and leadership teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft licensing programs such as CSP, EA, MPSA, SPLA, and Open Value.
  • Between 3 to 6 years of experience in Microsoft licensing, Software Asset Management, or commercial licensing management.
  • Capability to perform cost and ROI analysis and identify licensing optimization opportunities.
  • Experience working alongside sales teams in complex deal negotiation and customer discussions.
  • Practical experience with vendor portals like Microsoft Partner Center and PSX.
  • Strong program management expertise to deliver end-to-end incentive, enablement, and funding programs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to conduct engaging workshops and training.
  • Analytical mindset with solid Excel skills and aptitude for precise reporting and data management.
  • A proactive attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
