Laundry Aide

Role Overview

The Laundry Aide at Regency at Shelby Township is responsible for delivering laundry services that uphold a safe, sanitary, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and visitors. All cleaning operations comply with the facility's policies and align with relevant state and federal regulations to support the residents' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laundry duties following departmental procedures and scheduled cleaning routines.
• Manage disposal of general waste, including bio-hazardous materials, adhering strictly to facility guidelines.
• Follow safety protocols meticulously when handling and using cleaning chemicals.
• Respond constructively to additional assignments and projects as directed.
• Receive cross-training in housekeeping tasks and provide support when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Preferably, at least one year of housekeeping experience.
• No specific certifications or licenses are necessary for this position.
