About the Role

At Regency Heights-Detroit, the Laundry Aide is responsible for delivering laundry services that help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. These services must adhere strictly to facility protocols as well as state and federal regulations, promoting a high-quality living atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laundry duties following departmental procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Dispose of trash and waste, including biohazardous materials, in compliance with facility policies.
• Adhere to safety guidelines when handling chemicals.
• Respond effectively to additional tasks and projects as assigned.
• Participate in cross-training for housekeeping tasks and provide support when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferably has one year of housekeeping experience.
• No certifications or licenses are mandated.
