Role Purpose

This role is tasked with efficiently cleaning and storing all dishes, trays, cutlery, cups, and small kitchen equipment while maintaining the dishwashing area and equipment in a sanitary and effective condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dismantle the dishwashing machine, including its arms, screens, and baskets.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize the dish machine, including removing debris and hosing down the interior.
• Inspect the machine to confirm proper function and promptly report any malfunctions.
• Wash and correctly store all dishware, trays, utensils, cups, and small kitchen tools used by the department.
• Monitor water temperature during washing cycles to ensure it meets cleanliness standards.
• Carry out additional tasks as needed related to dishwashing and sanitation.

Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in the food service sector or as a dishwasher is preferred.

Compensation

The estimated hourly wage range for this position, as per state law and company standards, is $16.00 to $18.00, subject to factors like experience, skills, and shift differentials.
