Java/Spring Back-end Developer

Project Overview

• Join a Data Centre Migration initiative for a prominent banking client as a seasoned Java Developer possessing expertise in DevOps and infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain Java-based applications and microservices architecture.
• Architect and implement systems for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Enforce security best practices throughout software development and deployment phases.
• Diagnose and resolve problems across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA personnel, and product teams to produce superior software solutions.
• Keep abreast of evolving Java technologies and DevOps methodologies.

Mandatory Qualifications

• More than 7 years of professional experience in relevant fields.
• Strong expertise in backend Java development, including Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency systems, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Experience and knowledge in infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with deployment workflows and server code deployment techniques.
• Understanding server connectivity and management.
• Basic competency in managing system resources like RAM and CPU allocation.
• Container technologies such as Kubernetes and Podman.
• Ability to create pipelines and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes.
• Experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Desirable Skills

• Background in banking domain projects.
• Experience in financial markets or working on trading system environments.
