Murex Front Office Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Murex production batch processing, including date roll operations for multiple desks and entities, accounting, and reporting batches.
• Configure processing scripts for various Murex modules and troubleshoot related issues.
• Perform and oversee daily and monthly housekeeping tasks related to accounting, market data, and other relevant areas.
• Provide support for overnight batch processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop or configure processing scripts, reports, or batch feeders as part of batch support requirements.
• Oversee configuration management and release management activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 6 to 8 years of experience working with the Murex system, specifically in Front Office modules on the Mx 3.1 platform.
• Experience configuring e-tradepad functionalities.
• Proven expertise in developing and maintaining scalable, resilient transaction processing systems within financial markets.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving capabilities linked to system development.
• Extensive exposure to all asset classes.
• In-depth understanding of trade lifecycle processes spanning front office, back office, and middle office operations.
• Detailed knowledge of Murex Front Office modules, including creating and updating simulation views per user preferences.
• Ability to conduct requirement analysis within the Front Office domain for various asset classes.
• Skills in analyzing existing production data and test case suites to inform development.
• Competency in interpreting product requirements and proposing solutions to support system rollouts.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office business stakeholders to design and implement pricing and booking functionalities in Murex.
• Engage with internal business partners on cross-functional initiatives to deliver straight-through processing (STP) solutions related to pricing, distribution, and execution.
• Understand business needs thoroughly, identify relevant solutions, and assess technical options critically.
