Job Summary

The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and order within buildings. Responsibilities include heavy-duty cleaning such as floor stripping and refinishing, rug shampooing, washing walls and glass surfaces, and removing trash responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash in accordance with approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Perform dusting and damp mopping of floors following prescribed methods.
• Relocate furniture and equipment to enable thorough cleaning and restore placement afterward.
• Sanitize all surfaces using designated materials and equipment, adhering to the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Clean walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Proactively identify and address cleaning needs independently.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county regulations when performing duties.
• Perform specialized floor care such as stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing, and carpet shampooing.
• Demonstrate professionalism and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Carry out additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Prior experience in janitorial work and customer service is mandatory.
• Ability to work variable hours including weekends and holidays.

Compensation and Schedule

The position offers a fixed hourly rate of $20.79, with pay issued weekly. Full-time schedules vary in days and hours; specific details will be provided during the interview process.
