Position Summary

The Dishwasher role is crucial for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas. Responsibilities include cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, ensuring all workspaces meet safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove and rinse food residue from dishes, then wash them by hand or using dishwashing equipment depending on the assigned tools.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays thoroughly following established protocols.
• Polish silverware using equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths to ensure optimal cleanliness.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and maintain chemical and temperature standards as specified.
• Keep the dishwashing and kitchen areas organized and sanitary, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing surfaces such as walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Dispose of trash appropriately, including steam cleaning or hosing out garbage containers.
• Assist with the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and help load/unload deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• No previous experience required; willingness to learn and be trained on the job.

Work Schedule and Location

Full-time shifts with varying days and typical hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Location: Anduril facility at 1400 Anduril, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges between $19.00 and $20.00.
