Job Summary

The Dishwasher role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, trays, and kitchen work areas to ensure a hygienic environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove food residues by scraping and rinsing dishes, then wash by hand or use dishwashing machines as appropriate to ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to established procedures, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Polish silverware using equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths as per guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation protocols, maintaining cleanliness in dishwashing areas and kitchen floors through sweeping and mopping.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
• Dispose of trash properly, including steam cleaning or hosing out garbage bins to keep work areas clean.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and workspaces, assisting with loading and unloading as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned to support kitchen operations.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; willing to provide training to new hires.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position at the Intel RA3 Cafe located at 2501 NE 25th Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with additional details provided during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.
