Job Summary

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, work areas, and utensils to meet established hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually scrape and rinse food residues from dishes and either wash by hand or load into dishwashing machines, ensuring full sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following specific protocols to assure thorough cleanliness.
• Polish silverware using specified equipment and techniques, including burnishing machines and hand polishing, maintaining high sanitary standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor and control dishwashing temperatures and chemical levels as per guidelines.
• Keep the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety norms.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to uphold sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces routinely.
• Handle trash disposal, including placing trash in designated containers and thorough cleaning of garbage cans.
• Assist with transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
• Help with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, based at the Delta Sky Club located at 3835 N. Harbor, San Diego, CA 92101.

• Hourly wage of $21.95 with weekly payment.
