Overnight Order Picker Full-Time

Position Overview

Join our team at The Home Depot Canada as a full-time Overnight Order Picker in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our online business by efficiently gathering products to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy, and preparing orders for pickup or delivery within scheduled timeframes.

Key Duties

• Retrieve, sort, stage, and verify customer orders for accurate delivery or in-store pickup.
• Properly label and place orders in designated holding zones until they are transferred out or loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Operate lift truck machinery safely to assist in order preparation; comprehensive training provided.
• Use computer terminals and/or The Home Depot mobile devices to locate products, check inventory, review orders, and process picking tasks.
• Restock shelves and maintain organized sales floor displays.
• Load customer orders onto delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.

Candidate Requirements

• Willingness and availability to work overnight shifts, Monday through Sunday, between 10 PM and 6:30 AM.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to navigate desktops and smartphone applications.
• Previous experience with forklifts or lift trucks is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift weights up to 50 pounds.
• High attention to detail, independence in task execution, teamwork skills, and motivation to complete tasks accurately and quickly.
