About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Porter to support the effective functioning of healthcare operations on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. This role involves maintaining a high level of customer service and cleanliness, contributing to a positive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Shift Pattern
You will typically work five days out of seven.
Primary Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby and other public spaces.
- Assist housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams in room preparation and moving furniture.
- Perform some reception tasks such as booking theatre tickets and arranging restaurant reservations.
- Attend and respond to customer requests as needed.
- Run errands to support operational needs.
- Ensure customer safety by placing and removing safety signage, such as warnings for wet floors or ongoing painting.

- Adaptable and able to adjust to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Experience providing high-quality customer care.
- Capable of taking initiative and making sound decisions in favor of customers.
- Able to perform well under pressure.
