Role Summary
The Invoicing Officer position is crucial to ensuring that all invoicing activities are precise, timely, and compliant, thus supporting seamless business operations. Collaborating mainly with the Head of Billing and an extensive network of internal stakeholders, the role offers exposure to financial operations, reporting, and process enhancement projects. This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about managing data, fostering relationships, and improving operational efficiency within a dynamic and team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end invoice processing and carry out invoice reviews to guarantee accuracy, punctuality, and compliance with client agreements and service standards.
- Enhance billing processes by overseeing recoverable expenses, tracking payments, and ensuring proper recording and allocation of financial data.
- Analyze billing and timesheet data, investigate anomalies, and partner with teams to refine reporting precision and streamline operational workflows.
- Support month-end closing activities by generating billing and recovery reports, assisting with debtor management, and delivering insightful financial data for decision-making.
- Serve as a reliable liaison for billing inquiries, collaborating with operations and finance departments to resolve issues, exchange best practices, and identify opportunities to automate and continuously improve billing processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in invoicing or billing, with solid proficiency in handling financial data and processes.
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, ideally complemented by experience or familiarity with the financial services or investment fund sectors.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and detail-focused abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities, including during busy periods.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable with billing and financial reporting software.
- Effective communication skills with strength in teamwork, client engagement, problem-solving, and promoting operational efficiencies. Fluency in English is mandatory.
