Senior Transaction Manager - Aviation

Role Purpose

The Senior Transaction Manager - Aviation will oversee a diverse portfolio of aviation-related clients, such as aircraft lessors, aircraft-owning Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), aviation ABS structures, joint ventures, warehouse facilities, and other aviation finance platforms. This role acts as the central point of contact for transaction management throughout the lifecycle of aviation structures—from initial setup and closing, through governance, board support, compliance, restructuring, to wind-down when applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture relationships as the primary interface for a portfolio of aviation and aircraft leasing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and strong partnerships.
• Oversee financing agreements, shareholder arrangements, and ABS transaction documents throughout their entire lifecycle to ensure proper execution.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all transaction obligations and conditions precedent, maintaining strict compliance standards.
• Coordinate all post-closing requirements and deliverables, verifying that transaction specifications are fully met.
• Facilitate successful transactions by managing complex documentation, stakeholder communications, and multiple concurrent aviation deals.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in aviation finance, transaction management, or a comparable role within financial services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling complex transaction documentation, financing contracts, and ABS structures throughout their lifecycle.
• Exhibit excellent coordination skills with various stakeholders, including legal advisors, lenders, trustees, servicers, asset managers, corporate administrators, and accounting teams.
• Show strong attention to detail and compliance expertise, effectively managing transaction obligations and ensuring deadlines are met.
