Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with more than two years of experience to join a reputable developer focused on residential apartment projects in South Dublin. The position involves supporting the commercial management of a premium residential development, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. The developer boasts a strong record of delivering high-quality residential schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing and controlling project costs throughout the development phases.
• Evaluate and process payment applications, valuations, and variations submitted by contractors.
• Contribute to the preparation of cost reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts related to the project.
• Support tender preparation activities including analysis and reporting for various project packages.
• Engage regularly with the main contractor, subcontractors, and design teams regarding commercial matters.
• Facilitate final account settlements and cost reconciliations for the project.

Requirements

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related field is required.
• Experience working as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, preferably within a developer, main contractor, or PQS practice environment.
• Proficient commercial and cost management capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary ranging between €50,000 and €60,000 annually plus benefits package.
