Job Role

We are looking for a meticulous and methodical Mechanical Inspector based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to ensure mechanical construction projects meet the highest quality and safety benchmarks. This role involves conducting detailed inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical electrical systems, verifying adherence to specifications and UAE building codes, and collaborating with project teams to maintain top standards through all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive mechanical inspections on various building construction projects, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and related mechanical electrical components.
• Ensure all mechanical work strictly adheres to approved project drawings, specifications, and UAE building regulations.
• Precisely analyze inspection results to detect defects, non-compliance, or deviations from defined project standards.
• Document inspection details with accuracy, including photographic evidence, findings, and actionable recommendations in thorough reports.
• Effectively communicate inspection outcomes to project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain transparency.
• Work closely with construction teams to facilitate prompt correction of identified issues and perform follow-up inspections.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, logs, and digital documentation using construction management software.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm mechanical systems operate safely and functionally prior to project turnover.
• Keep updated on changes to building codes, mechanical standards, and best practices applicable in the UAE construction industry.
• Partner with fellow inspectors and project teams to maintain consistent quality assurance across all projects.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase inspection efficiency and effectiveness.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection, quality assurance, or related roles within building construction environments.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong expertise in mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and associated building installations.
