Inspection Engineer (Maintenance)

Job Overview

This role ensures the quality compliance of Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contractor Inspection and Integrity deliverables within assigned project packages. The incumbent guarantees all Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contractor activities conform to company specifications, standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in technical reviews focused on maintainability and inspectability of installations during pre-feed, feed, and detailed engineering phases.
• Oversee Inspection and Integrity Engineering tasks throughout projects, ensuring alignment with Maintenance & Inspection Engineering contracts.
• Support the MIE Contractor Work Package Leaders concerning inspection-related queries.
• Review and provide feedback on technical documentation via the company’s document management system (MANASA).
• Monitor clarifications and requests from the FOPS Method team concerning completed Maintenance & Inspection Engineering projects.
• Coordinate offshore Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contractor scopes, advancing the deployment of digital solutions for site baseline enforcement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in inspection engineering within petrochemical, refining, oil and gas exploration, or related industries.
• Proven expertise in Risk Based Inspection (RBI), preferably within relevant industries.
• Experience using CMIMS software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inspection-related legislation and regulations.
• Familiarity with company standards, MANASA system, and applicable codes and standards.
• Fluency in English, including technical terminology, in speaking, writing, and listening.
• Computer proficiency.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Capability to work effectively within a complex, multicultural environment.
• Willingness and availability to undertake project-related missions, including offshore assignments.
• Medical fitness to travel and work on offshore oil and gas platforms.
