About the Role
Join Edwards Lifesciences to impact patients globally by playing a pivotal role within the Human Resources team focused on the EEMEA region's growth and expansion. This position collaborates with Business Leaders and cross-functional partners such as Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations to facilitate new country launches, strengthen HR capabilities in established markets, and implement compliant people processes and infrastructure essential for successful operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HR support for opening new countries, including entity setup, market compensation and benefits analysis, contract design, and ensuring compliance readiness.
- Collaborate with business leadership to translate regional expansion plans into workforce strategies, HR operations, and capability development.
- Standardize and ensure compliance of all HR procedures like recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations across Middle Eastern markets.
- Oversee consistent application of HR lifecycle management and maintain rigorous governance for employee documentation, visa/work permits, HR data, and adherence to labor laws.
- Facilitate recruitment planning and execution alongside Talent Acquisition and leadership aligned with growth objectives.
- Partner with business and HR colleagues to identify and develop future capability-building and learning initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external vendors such as payroll, visa processing, insurance, and relocation service providers; enforce and update service agreements, monitor delivery quality, and address escalations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ professional experience in Human Resources, including employee relations.
Additional Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR information systems (Workday preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities coupled with interpersonal and consultative skills to drive results.
- Conflict resolution expertise with proven leadership and change management capabilities.
- Experience managing projects and adhering to schedules.
- Skilled in presentations and facilitation.
- Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR domains such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, payroll, leadership development, and organizational development.
- Thorough understanding of company policies, federal and state employment laws, and compliance standards.
- Experience with HR platforms like PeopleSoft and Taleo is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills, with strong negotiation and conflict management abilities.
- Capacity to build effective relationships at all organizational levels and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Disciplined attention to detail and confidentiality handling.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with senior personnel on important organizational matters.
- Commitment to adhere to company safety and environmental policies to protect employees and the environment.
