Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development in Angular, applying modern UI/UX principles and best practices to create scalable, high-quality features and address technical debt.
• Guide architecture design and solution frameworks for medium to large initiatives, mentoring junior team members during development and support aligned with IT standards.
• Establish and uphold coding quality standards and version control protocols within the development team.
• Analyze and resolve software performance, functional, and usability challenges; produce thorough technical documentation and diagrams.
• Assess operational viability of proposed technical solutions and translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, including UI/UX regression assessments, and lead peer code reviews.
• Champion the integration of AI tools within the team to enhance productivity and accelerate delivery.
• Coordinate Angular framework upgrades in collaboration with regional leads.
• Explore integration possibilities for offline applications using Ionic Framework, Capacitor, Electron, Salesforce, and evaluate new technology tools and interfaces.
• Serve as subject-matter expert for system platform design, business processes, and software/hardware architecture, representing IT in governance bodies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Design, Quality Management, and Business to align product requirements and ensure comprehensive representation.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as part of role requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline coupled with 8 years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience developing responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications.
• Proficient with Angular Reactive Forms, adept at handling complex dynamic inputs and validations.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge spanning hardware, software, web/mobile/desktop apps, databases, cloud platforms, and QA/testing methodologies.
• Advanced skills in Angular 17+, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQLite, Node.js, HTML5, CSS, Electron, Ionic Capacitor, and application security on mobile/desktop platforms.
• Expertise in SQL database design for offline apps, particularly with distributed systems and denormalized data models using SQLite.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD practices utilizing Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps pipelines, PowerShell/Node.js scripting, and automated unit and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in building offline Windows (UWP/Win32) and iOS apps with hybrid web technologies like Apache Cordova and Ionic Capacitor.
• Familiarity with Apple's developer program and guidelines.
• Mastery in applying enterprise Angular best practices including global architecture, monorepo structures, object-oriented programming, and reactive design patterns.
• Thorough understanding of UI/UX principles for various devices and screen sizes, along with working knowledge of Angular UI libraries such as Ionic.
• Skilled in technical documentation encompassing UML, BPML, ERD, wireframes/mockups, and test script creation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Effective negotiation and relationship management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack Angular development experience including SQLite integration.
• Certification from Certificates.dev (Senior/Expert/Lead Angular) or equivalent architecture credentials such as TOGAF or solution architecture certification.
• Understanding of business processes in Sales, Marketing, Inventory Management for high-value products, and CRM/ERP ecosystems.
• Experience with automated unit testing frameworks for Angular like Playwright or Tricentis.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM including queries, reports, permissions, custom objects, REST APIs, workflows, and Apex triggers for connected apps.
• Awareness of IT governance, operations, and administration best practices.
