Role Summary

As Edwards Lifesciences expands its global technology footprint with a newly established IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India, this center aims to reinforce technological capabilities supporting business operations worldwide. The hub is designed for long-term growth, enhancing digital capacity including automation, data science, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies. The role encompasses positions across end-user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams, collectively working towards efficiency and innovation acceleration in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and core Salesforce platform features.
• Act as the technical lead for Salesforce-related projects and upgrades, ensuring compliance with architectural blueprints, security policies, and best practices.
• Adhere to established coding standards aimed at enhancing code quality, maintainability, and platform performance.
• Work collaboratively with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to convert business needs into technical implementations.
• Drive solution design discussions and offer technical insights through the software development lifecycle.
• Manage Salesforce integration with enterprise applications leveraging APIs, middleware, and event-driven frameworks.
• Maintain platform reliability, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing strategies.
• Resolve complex production issues and lead response efforts during critical incidents.
• Identify and recommend improvements to current applications and workflows using Salesforce capabilities and emerging technologies.
• Provide mentoring, knowledge sharing, and training to team members to support career progression and technical expertise development.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in Salesforce development and delivering solutions.
• Mandatory Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Proficient in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
• Experienced with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipeline deployment methods.
• Familiarity working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security concepts including sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance best practices.
• Effective collaboration with global cross-functional teams and clear communication tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience conducting code reviews, solution assessments, release planning, and estimations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified Administrator, Application Architect, and System Architect certifications.
• Experience with Copado, Gearset, GitHub, JIRA, BitBucket tools.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate Salesforce with ERP systems, SaaS applications, and external customer platforms through APIs and middleware.
