Edwards Lifesciences is establishing a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India, to enhance its global technology capacities. This center will support the company’s worldwide business by collaborating with international teams to develop scalable, dependable, high-quality technological solutions. The Pune Hub represents a strategic long-term investment aimed at advancing digital capabilities, such as automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies. The roles available range from end user services and application development to enterprise platform teams, all working to improve operational efficiency and speed up innovation aligned with the mission of improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated software solutions utilizing modern UI/UX frameworks and Angular best practices.
• Establish and maintain coding standards and source control policies in collaboration with the development team.
• Create thorough documentation including code annotations, technical manuals, flowcharts, layouts, and diagrams for moderately complex systems.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of performance and functional issues within software products.
• Assess operational viability through analysis of problem definitions, requirements, and proposed solutions.
• Conduct manual tests and maintain automated UI/UX tests ensuring robust software functionality.
• Perform risk analysis relating to code changes and regression for enhanced functionality.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct peer reviews, and provide subject matter expertise.
• Accurately update task and ticket status within project management platforms.
• Plan and implement system specifications, standards, and programming aligned with architecture, quality, and security standards for moderately complex projects.
• Work independently on complex projects with oversight focusing on accuracy and reliability.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields (such as B.Sc, B.Tech/B.E., B.A., B.Com, or B.Ed in Computer Science).
• Minimum 5 years of proven Angular development experience with Angular 17 or newer using Ivy-based architecture.
• Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years building responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications.
• Advanced skills in Angular Reactive Forms featuring complex dynamic elements and validation logic.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX best practices optimized for multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Expertise in ensuring cross-browser functionality, especially on Chrome and Safari for web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in creating touch-optimized, responsive user interfaces.
• Experience working with prominent Angular UI frameworks such as Ionic, Material, and Bootstrap.
• Ability to develop and maintain reusable Angular components guided by industry best practices.
• Solid understanding and application of Git version control and Continuous Integration workflows like Git Flow.
• Familiarity with SQL query writing and API development relevant to front-end UI/UX.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective interpersonal capabilities including negotiation and relationship management.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Experience as a full-stack Angular developer incorporating SQLite databases.
• Professional certification in senior-level Angular development or equivalent proficiency validating expertise in Angular components, RxJS, reactive forms, and TypeScript design patterns.
• Development experience with offline-capable iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Windows desktop applications using hybrid frameworks like Apache Cordova, Ionic Capacitor, and Electron.
• Knowledge of Angular unit testing frameworks including Jasmine, Karma, and Angular TestBed.
• Experience building enterprise-grade internal applications with a focus on business process automation and data management.
• Understanding of standard sales, marketing, inventory management workflows and their integration within CRM/ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, including customization (custom objects), REST APIs, workflows, and Apex programming.
• Proficient with software development lifecycle tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Octane, and Playwright.
• Awareness of IT governance, operational policies, and administrative best practices.
