Role Overview

As a Houseperson on the Housekeeping team, you will be essential in maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency throughout assigned floors and service sections. You will help uphold high departmental standards and contribute to smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned in briefing sessions.
• Support service standards and operational needs of the housekeeping department.
• Use the FCS1 system to monitor and adjust task assignments.
• Handle chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment safely following protocols.
• Manage section keys, assignments, and shift-related responsibilities per established procedures.
• Dispose of waste materials including garbage, recycling, linen, and glassware appropriately.
• Replenish supplies in floor pantries, linen rooms, and utility areas.
• Clean public and guest corridors, Heart of House areas, storage rooms, and emergency exits to prescribed quality standards.
• Assist with heavy tasks such as furniture relocation, deep cleaning, carpet care, and preparing rooms.
• Deliver guest request items and operational supplies promptly.
• Operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Report Lost & Found items, maintenance issues, safety hazards, and unusual occurrences.
• Follow procedures for handling damaged or contaminated linen.
• Support Guest Room Valets by supplying necessary items.
• Assist in managing linen and supply inventories.
• Adhere to security procedures involving keys and restricted areas.
• Participate in training programs and adopt operational updates.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Hospitality experience, preferably as a Guest Room Attendant in a hotel environment, is beneficial.
• Fluent command of English, including verbal, written, and reading skills.
• Minimum education of high school diploma, vocational training, or at least one year of work experience.
• Familiarity with FTG (Four- or Five-Star) hotel standards is an advantage.
• Experience working in a luxury hotel or resort setting is desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, diverse workplace.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
