About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to become the UAE's first integrated resort, opening in 2027 at Ras Al Khaimah, approximately 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. The resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 dining venues including restaurants and bars, a theater, beach club, various pools, a luxury spa and salon, a shopping promenade, as well as celebration and event centers.

Position Overview

The resort is looking to hire a Senior Steward for the Kitchen Stewards team to oversee stewarding operations and ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are upheld in the kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding tasks ensuring that all crockery, pots, glassware, and kitchen tools are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored.
• Oversee and assist stewards in their routine to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Maintain all kitchen environments—including floors, ceilings, ovens, and workspaces—to meet health and safety regulations.
• Manage the correct usage, storage, and monitoring of cleaning agents and stewarding resources.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with hygiene, environmental policies, and company regulations.
• Lead daily briefings, provide coaching during shifts, and correct operational issues to ensure top-level service delivery.
• Support the Stewarding Supervisor and step into leadership roles as necessary to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Promote teamwork, effective communication, adherence to company policies, grooming standards, and the organization’s Code of Conduct.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years' experience in stewarding within a 5-star hotel or integrated resort environment, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of stewarding practices, including cleaning chemicals, health and safety requirements, and hygiene standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills essential for team management.
• A positive, proactive approach paired with a strong work ethic to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
• Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and cleaning of large equipment and overhead areas.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts according to business needs.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are considered advantageous.
