Property Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the daily management and smooth functioning of a hostel or similar property based in Mangalore, Karnataka. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality guest experiences, managing staff workflows, and maintaining operational standards throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations related to property management, including guest check-in and check-out procedures.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and promptness.
• Liaise effectively with housekeeping, kitchen, and other support teams to maintain service quality.
• Supervise cleanliness, maintenance, and overall standards within the property.
• Manage room or bed occupancy and collaborate with the booking team accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare daily operational reports.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
• Handle basic cash or payment processing tasks as required.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance through vendor and staff communication.
• Manage work schedules and daily task distribution among staff members.
• Report significant operational challenges to higher management promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel, hostel, resort, homestay, or property management is advantageous.
• Strong communication abilities and a customer-focused approach.
• Capability to oversee staff and coordinate daily operational activities effectively.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications.
• Responsible, well-organized, and proactive work ethic.
• Willingness to engage in a hospitality environment involving operational management.

Additional Information

Salary: Monthly compensation ranges between ₹15,000 and ₹18,000.

Location: Mangalore, Karnataka, India.
