About the Role
The Housekeeping Runner at Courtyard by Marriott plays a key role in delivering a memorable guest experience by maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the hotel premises. This position involves a variety of housekeeping duties including fulfilling guest requests, replenishing supplies, cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure a welcoming and sanitary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a wide range of housekeeping activities to maintain hotel appearance and hygiene standards. Perform tasks with autonomy moving about the property as required. Respond promptly to guest needs and stock housekeeping carts efficiently. Engage physically in duties, including moving and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
Job Requirements and Conditions
Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and adherence to the hotel's policies and confidentiality standards is essential. Professional presentation, including uniform and communication, is expected at all times. The role demands physical stamina, including standing or walking for extended periods and frequent manual handling activities.
