Receiver - Kitchen

Overview

This position at Courtyard by Marriott in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, involves receiving, unloading, and processing deliveries, ensuring incoming merchandise matches invoices and receiving reports. The role requires organizing items by department, marking storage locations clearly, and distributing goods appropriately within the facility. High accuracy in inventory tracking and reporting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process deliveries while verifying merchandise against invoices and receipt reports.
• Organize and label merchandise by department and location within the premises for efficient distribution.
• Track inventory received and maintain accurate records and reports on stock.
• Reconcile transportation invoices and receipt documentation to ensure precise counting.
• Manage incoming and outgoing packages and mail for the department, ensuring secure handling and custody.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the receiving area and its contents.
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures, report maintenance issues or safety hazards, and complete required safety certifications and training.
• Ensure professional personal appearance and proper uniform adherence at all times.
• Protect company information confidentiality and safeguard assets.
• Support coworkers respectfully, fostering team collaboration to meet common goals.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards and expectations.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and placing objects under 50 pounds (approximately 22.5 kg) without assistance.
• Visually verify information from various sources and inspect tools or equipment for defects.
• Demonstrate dexterity and eye-hand coordination through manipulating objects of various sizes and weights.
• Perform movements including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, crawling, and navigating confined or elevated spaces.
• Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as stairs and ramps safely.
• Carry out any other reasonable work duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education required: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• No previous relevant work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
• No licenses or certifications needed.
