Overview
Join Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services as a Cleaning Operative to contribute to maintaining clean, safe environments, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and used according to health and safety standards. This role involves understanding the cleaning requirements of your assigned area, following schedules, handling chemicals and equipment safely, and completing all required training.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, well-maintained, and meets safety standards and service agreements.
- Follow health and safety protocols strictly when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Develop positive relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service, continuously seeking to improve service quality and exceed expectations.
Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in basic English.
- Previous experience in cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards work and tasks.
- Be open, honest, self-motivated, determined, reliable, and hardworking.
- Maintain a professional approach at all times.
