Your Impact
Join Jacobs and contribute to some of Ireland and the UK's most ambitious and prominent transport projects. As a Highways Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting solutions that connect communities, foster growth, and promote environmental sustainability.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for leading projects from initial feasibility and concept stages through detailed design and construction. Your technical leadership will span a varied portfolio, including major highway infrastructure, complex junctions, and active travel developments, ensuring compliance, innovation, and high-quality design standards.
Collaborating across clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide reliable advice and foster teamwork throughout all project phases. With key programs underway for Transport Infrastructure Ireland, the National Transport Authority, Irish Rail, local councils, and top contractors, your influence will shape important national infrastructure and Ireland's transportation future.

Qualifications & Experience
- Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status through Engineers Ireland or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge of TII Publications, UK DMRB standards, and Active Travel norms
- Demonstrated expertise in major highways, local roads, or active travel projects with solid H&S legislation understanding
- Experience in construction oversight and road safety auditing
- Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM)
