Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee the construction supervision and delivery of Hyperscale Data Center and critical mission infrastructure projects throughout the Middle East. This role involves managing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems while ensuring adherence to project requirements, international standards, client expectations, and local regulatory codes. Experience with Tier III and Tier IV Data Centers and mission-critical electrical systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct supervision of electrical construction activities to ensure alignment with approved designs, technical specifications, electrical codes, and applicable standards.
• Review and validate shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, inspection and testing plans, and related technical documentation.
• Oversee installation and testing phases for electrical infrastructure components including substations, high/medium/low voltage distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS and battery systems, generators, grounding, and lightning protection measures.
• Ensure compliance with redundancy provisions of Tier III/Tier IV data centers and uphold mission-critical performance criteria.
• Coordinate electrical activities in collaboration with civil, structural, mechanical, ICT, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Support commissioning processes including testing, energization, integrated system tests, and project handover stages.
• Participate in quality inspections, audits, project reviews, and evaluate contractor performance.
• Prepare detailed technical progress reports and contribute to overall project monitoring efforts.

Candidate Profile and Experience

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably possesses professional certifications such as PE, CEng, PMP, or equivalents.
• Has a solid track record with 8 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Demonstrates at least 3 to 5 years of focused experience on Hyperscale Data Centers, Tier III or Tier IV Data Centers, or other Mission-Critical Facilities.
• Experienced with electrical systems including substations, UPS, generator plants, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, EPMS, and critical power infrastructure.
• Proven involvement in testing, commissioning, and energization tasks.
• Brings a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional exposure to projects within the Middle East region.
• Thorough understanding of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, British Standards, and local regulatory compliance requirements.
