About the Company
The Talent People is representing a reputable mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering specialist known for its extensive experience in Singapore's built environment sector. The company provides comprehensive M&E solutions across diverse large-scale commercial, infrastructure, healthcare, and industrial projects, supported by robust regional engineering expertise.
Role Summary
This opening is for a site-based Electrical Engineer focusing on underground M&E projects. The position involves supervising subcontractor activities and ensuring that electrical works align strictly with design specifications.
Key Duties
- Oversee and monitor subcontractors’ work progress in adherence to shop drawings, method statements, and approved materials and samples.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with authorities, subcontractors, main contractors, and clients.
- Evaluate electrical design drawings to confirm compliance with specifications and guidelines.
- Detect and resolve inconsistencies among M&E, structural, interior design, architectural, and client requirements.
- Manage project execution within set deadlines.
- Participate in meetings alongside subcontractors, contractors, and clients to discuss challenges and provide progress updates.
- Conduct thorough review of drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Distribute assignments appropriately and guarantee work meets established standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Solid understanding of M&E specifications and requirements.
- Familiarity with calculation methods, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Revit, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
- A positive attitude with strong teamwork capabilities.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Applicants with over 8 years of relevant experience will be considered for senior roles.
Work Details
- Work schedule: 5.5 days per week; Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Workplace location: Changi, Singapore.
