About the Role
Join our motivated team based in Karratha as a Heavy Combination (HC) licensed driver. This position involves operating a variety of waste collection vehicles to support vital waste management and recycling initiatives that benefit local communities. Comprehensive training is provided to help you master diverse vehicle types within our fleet, all while contributing to a cleaner environment.
This role is residentially based in Karratha and may include housing allowance or company-provided accommodation for candidates with relevant industry experience.
What This Job Entails
- Operate HC or Multi Combination (MC) vehicles on secure long-term waste collection contracts.
- Ensure the safe transport of various waste materials to designated disposal sites.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
- Adopt and maintain a safety-first approach to all driving and operational activities.
- Learn to handle multiple types of fleet vehicles and specialized equipment.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid HC or MC driver's license is essential.
- Prior inductions with Woodside and/or Rio Tinto will be a significant advantage.
- Good understanding of Karratha's geography and surrounding areas.
- A strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Waste industry experience is highly desirable.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and relevant medical assessments.
