Job description
Position Overview
As we prepare for a busy summer, we are seeking skilled Class 4 drivers to join our teams in the Waimakariri District. The role involves the safe handling of trucks equipped with road ranger gearboxes and requires familiarity with various material types and road aggregates, along with effective tipping and spreading techniques.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will operate Class 4 vehicles safely, demonstrate knowledge of material handling, and perform ground labour tasks as needed. Expertise in self-loading using excavators or wheeled loaders is advantageous.
Candidate Profile
- Holder of a Class 4 driver's license (mandatory).
- WTR endorsements are highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with road ranger Class 4 vehicles is essential.
- Ability to recognize safety hazards and work securely around heavy machinery.
- Physically capable, motivated, and able to work independently with a positive mindset.
- Strong awareness of health and safety protocols and practical judgment.
