Delivery Driver

Job Summary

The Delivery Driver at The Restaurant Store handles the loading and transport of orders to local customers, maintaining excellent customer service while efficiently navigating delivery routes. During slower periods without deliveries, the driver supports store operations through various material handling tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizing and loading orders carefully into the delivery vehicle.
• Completing scheduled delivery routes in the morning and afternoon.
• Engaging politely and professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Directing customers to Sales team members for inquiries beyond delivery scope.
• Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and orderly.

Physical Demands

• Standing or walking up to nine hours daily.
• Effective communication requiring clear speech, vision, and hearing.
• Regular use of hands for grasping and fine motor tasks.
• Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights up to 50 pounds.

Experience and Education

• Possession of a Class C driver's license and a clean driving record.
• No formal degree required; emphasis placed on relevant skills, experience, and value alignment.
