BaxterStorey is seeking a skilled Head Barista to lead the coffee operations at their Burges Salmon location in Reading, England. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £14.87 per hour and an opportunity to drive coffee quality and customer satisfaction from the first cup to the last.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the coffee bar, establishing service standards and leading by example.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages consistently.
• Coach, guide, and support the barista team to enhance their skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee area with appealing presentation.
• Manage inventory including stock, displays, and service flow to ensure efficiency.
• Accurately operate tills and handle cash transactions.
• Create welcoming and engaging experiences for all customers.
• Support the wider team in daily operations and act as shift lead, demonstrating best practices.
• Conduct weekly stock inventories for coffee beans, syrups, milk, disposables, and equipment.
• Manage ordering to balance availability and reduce waste.
• Analyze usage patterns and report findings to the Restaurant Manager.
