Role Summary

The Graduate Engineer based at Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, will join the AVEVA Operation Centre team. The role focuses on assisting with the delivery and support of software implementations tailored to meet client requirements for AVEVA Operation Centre (AOC) and Digital Twin (DT) solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing projects from contract to final delivery, particularly within the Information Management and Digital Twin domains, preferably with some familiarity with Oil & Gas (O&G) and petrochemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Execute service engagements encompassing implementation of both standard and customized solutions, customer training, requirements gathering and analysis, solution definition, and software customization.
• Provide ongoing product support to customers.
• Collaborate with global teams on solution development, documentation, deployment, and delivery.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the main customer contact to confirm solutions align with their business objectives.
• Act as the technical point of contact for continuous support and technical relationship management for critical clients.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders by delivering accurate technical and engineering support.
• Address customer inquiries and troubleshoot issues efficiently by diagnosing problems and applying effective technical solutions.
• Be willing and able to travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
• Practical experience with AVEVA Operation Centre (AOC), Digital Twin (DT) technologies, and legacy Wonderware products.
• Basic proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, or C#.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database systems.
• Understanding of Windows Server components, including IIS and COM+.
• Strong problem-solving skills with systematic troubleshooting capabilities and ability to incorporate technical assistance when necessary.
• Conceptual knowledge of object-oriented programming constructs like classes, objects, attributes, and associations.
• Excellent written communication abilities, capable of producing technical specifications and training documentation.
• Experience working with global industries and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) entities is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in Human Machine Interface (HMI) development and design is preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
