Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a General Merchandise Associate offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise within retail. Key Duties

• Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly greeting patrons, aiding product selections, resolving inquiries, and directing concerns appropriately.
• Maintain and organize assigned salesfloor areas.
• Ensure zoning and proper placement of merchandise in designated locations.
• Relocate featured products to their designated shelving.
• Retrieve merchandise from customer service or other store locations for restocking.
• Support cashier and front-end operations as needed.
• Coordinate with colleagues to guarantee comprehensive floor coverage.
• Promote a safe, tidy, and hazard-free work setting by following company safety policies, completing safety checks, and securing displays.
• Stock shelves, manage inventory restocking and downstocking, apply product protection measures, update modular displays including flexible layouts, and adjust shelf labels.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this role is $18.40 per hour.
