Job Overview

The Sales Associate role involves leveraging your knowledge and passion about pet nutrition and supplies to assist Pet Parents in selecting appropriate products. You'll be a vital part of a dedicated team of Pet Experts, gaining valuable retail experience and contributing to a pet-focused environment. The schedule includes day, afternoon, evening shifts, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and assist customers with purchases.
• Handle preparation of merchandise orders, banking, and various paperwork tasks.
• Stock small items (under 10 lbs) such as pet supplies and household goods on sales floor shelves.
• Maintain store cleanliness through sweeping, dusting, and other related tasks.
• Unload delivery vehicles containing cases and bags of pet food and supplies (up to 50 lbs) and stock these items appropriately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service aptitude.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is necessary.
